To celebrate Jamaican culture and culinary excellence, two of the nation’s beloved brands — Walkerswood Caribbean Foods and CB Chicken — have joined forces to support the upcoming Walkerswood Community Festival on Sunday, July 28.

The event will be held at the Walkerswood Community Centre in the community of Walkerswood, St. Ann and also feature the grand climax of their second annual Full of Flavour, Full of Vibes supermarket promotions.
The event is being organised by the Walkerswood Community Development Council and the Walkerswood Farmers’ Co-Operative for a second year.
Nicole Hall, Commercial Marketing Manager at CB Foods, is eagerly anticipating the upcoming Walkerswood Community Festival. The event will bring the community together, showcase the culinary skills of one of Jamaica’s hardworking farming communities, and raise funds for the renovation of the community’s entertainment center.
“Walkerswood Community Festival will take place on Sunday, July 28th from 10am – 10pm at The Community Centre which is located on a hill across from Walkerswood Caribbean Foods Office. Entry is FREE and there will be a Kiddies Village with rides and face painting along with performances by local community performers. PAN Chicken will be on sale and an exciting Cook-Off will take place. CB Chicken is committed to supporting small businesses who play a big part in changing the way Jamaicans eat through local and fresh ingredients. Along with Walkerwood, we’ll be giving people a taste of real Jamaican flavour,” Hall said in a recent interview.
She added, “Our tasty and collaborative duo aims to enhance everyday meals by combining the flavourful CB Chicken with Walkerwood seasoning, made with fresh, local, and high-quality ingredients we all love. The result is a heavenly combination bursting with flavour and vibes.
Regarding the “Full of Flavour, Full of Vibes” promotion, which will conclude at the Walkerswood Community Festival, she mentioned that the six-week island-wide promotion aims to drive additional traffic to our valued retail customers. The promotion includes introducing consumers to CB Chicken and Walkerwood Products with Jerk Chicken samples, gifts with purchase, and recipe cards to explore the flavours in their kitchen at home. While promoting, the team is encouraging consumers to support local businesses – by choosing CB Chicken and Walkerwood, they are helping to support the local economy. Both brands work closely with farmers across the island to contribute to Jamaica’s food supply. Additionally, the message is that local products genuinely offer a superior taste.
