Carnival Glam Hub, the premier Carnival concierge agency, is preparing to make a splash in Jamaica’s Carnival. After a successful showing in Trinidad Carnival, the agency is expanding to four additional countries this year, with Jamaica next on the list.
As the Caribbean’s only Carnival Glam Hub, the agency provides a luxury salon experience for its clients, with services that include hair and makeup, photoshoots, and video services. But what sets Carnival Glam Hub apart is the additional amenities that come with each booking.
Carnival Glam Hub: Your One-Stop Shop for the Ultimate Jamaica Carnival Experience
“Carnival Glam Hub is more than just makeup; it’s an experience,” says Jade Amiel, the Chief Experience Officer. “Our focus is on the needs of our masqueraders. We offer an all-inclusive experience that includes everything they need to prepare for the road.”
Carnival Glam Hub was founded in 2010 by makeup brand creator Gabrielle Waite of Gabby Glam Cosmetics and businessman Kibwe McGann. The idea was to provide a full-service experience for sixteen masqueraders, which included hair and makeup, costume collection and delivery, breakfast, photoshoots, and transportation. By the following year, the agency had over a hundred bookings and had to book a ballroom at the Jamaica Pegasus hotel.
Since then, Carnival Glam Hub has expanded to include Crop Over in Barbados, Trinidad Carnival, and other Carnival events across the Caribbean. The agency has attracted celebrities and influencers from across the region, including Nailah Blackman, Patrice Roberts, and Alexis Skyy.
“Carnival in Trinidad in 2023 was our biggest event to date, with over 1200 clients,” says Waite. “We had a production team of 65 pro makeup artists, eight hairdressers, and over 100 staff members. Carnival Glam Hub in Trinidad is ‘pace,’ as the Trinis would say.”
Carnival Glam Hub Jamaica will be hosted at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel on April 16, 2023, from 2:00 am to 2:00 pm. The agency is open to all masqueraders, regardless of their band. Services include hair, makeup, barber, henna, spray tan, photoshoots, breakfast, and shuttle service. With more than 6,000 women trusting the agency to do their faces, Carnival Glam Hub is setting the standard for Carnival concierge services in the Caribbean.
