Critics Choice Awards 2023 Winners: See the Full List Here

It wasn’t quite a sweep for Everything Everywhere All at OnceCate Blanchett won the hotly contested best actress race over Michelle Yeoh— but the Critics Choice Awards proved to be an outstanding night for A24’s strong Oscar contender. Winning best director for Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, best original screenplay, best-supporting actor for Ke Huy Quan, and best editing, it was a clear favorite among the critics.

Brandon Fraser - Critics Choice Awards

Brendan Fraser gave a moving speech for best actor for The Whale, one of many actors to mention onstage how years in the Hollywood wilderness preceded what’s now a celebrated comeback. Angela Bassett, who could become the first actor to be Oscar-nominated for a Marvel film, won the best supporting actress prize for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which also won a costume design award for Ruth E. Carter. And on the television side, some familiar winners from last year’s Emmys— Amanda Seyfried, Jennifer Coolidge, Sheryl Lee Ralph— were joined by contenders from newer shows like The Bear and best TV movie winner Weird: The  Al Yankovic Story.

Below, find a complete list of Critics Choice Awards 2023 winners. For more coverage of the awards, catch up with our live blog.
