The moment the movie “Dune” was being talked about, Movie Aficionado were excited — It gave them an 80s vibe by playing ode the a Sci-Fi Genre and stars real life Couple Zendaya and Timothee Chalamet.
For us “Fashion Girls”, we were excited for all the Fashion looks that would come from the Press Tour, where the celebs were expected to dress up in their “fancy looks” and make appearances on various talk shows and other events to engage with their audiences in hopes that people would watch the movie.
They did not disappoint as Zendaya is known to slay any Red Carpet because of her modelesque figure and bold Fashion statement looks and Timothee who dresses himself and goes from button downs to pairing a harness with converses. We knew we were in for a treat.

All The Fashions From The Dune Press Tour
Kicking things off, Zendaya arrived at the Venice Film Festival in new-season Valentino Haute Couture, only hours before sporting wet-look Balmain in the colour of a literal sand dune at the film’s premiere. Since then, she wore a sequin-front grey cotton Loewe dress only days after it debuted at the brand’s spring/summer ’22 show, as well as a two-piece from designer Pieter Mulier’s debut collection for Alaïa, which evoked memories of cling fabric-clad supermodels on the brand’s ’90s runways.
Pertaining to her well-documented affinity for Australian designers, Zendaya waved the flag for Australian fashion once again at Venice, choosing a cutout look by homegrown designer Dion Lee at a private dinner (her longtime stylist, Law Roach, shared footage on his social media).
Chalamet has also been pulling his weight fashion-wise, but then again, we wouldn’t have expected less. Accompanying leather Balmain-clad Zendaya on the red carpet, the leading man wore a broad-shouldered, collar-free Haider Ackermann suit, with a subtle sparkly finish. Most recently, he wore blue floral-adorned Stella McCartney, a welcome contrast against his co-star’s chainlink Vivienne Westwood top.
All in all, Zendaya and Chalamet are a fashion duo that still feels too good to be true—but after over 18 months without red carpets to watch, revelling in their mutual commitment to ‘understanding the assignment’ feels just like we thought it would.
