Starbucks is fast expanding in Jamaica with the opening of its 7th store in the prestigious AC Hotel in Kingston. The new space opened it’s door on July 1st, 2020 shortly after businesses were allowed to fully re-open and things were ” sort of back to normal”.
The location plays on the beautiful, modern, and contemporary decor of the Hotel as it boasts an open floor plan with hues of the signature Starbucks “Green” with greenery perfectly placed throughout which will be the perfect backdrop for those Instagram Photos! You will be pleased to know the store does not offer reusable cups as per the new COVID-19 Safety measures.

With all the amazing offerings, one can’t help but wonder “What is the drink of the Summer”? According to the team, it is hands down Refreshers — Specifically the Strawberry Acai Refreshers. If you are not quite familiar with this drink it’s described as :
Sweet strawberry flavors accented by passion fruit and açaí notes, caffeinated with green coffee extract—a welcoming sweet spot of refreshment.
If you are in the vicinity of Lady Musgrave Road and it’s environs, this is the perfect place to stop in for your favorite hot and cold beverages and quick eats before you get to your destination.
Be sure to wear your mask and opt-in to the temperature check and sanitizer and always remember to tip your barista! A little goes a long way! This location marks another one in the bag for Starbucks Jamaica and Caribbean Traders Ltd!
