Haute People Takes Style Out with Sparkling Ice, CPJ and KIG

Jamaica Observer Takes Style Out is one of our semi-major almost end of year events at Haute People as we love the overall concept and how it’s our very own “Island Version” of “Fashion’s Night Out” conceptualized by Vogue’s leading lady Anna Wintour.

This year’s event was held on Thursday, October 3,2019 and spanned from Kingston to Montego Bay where stores offered discounts up to 80% off their stock. My coverage would usually start in Manor Park at Flirt Boutique then I would work my way down to Half-Way-Tree then head back home!

This year was a bit different as I got the opportunity to work with a few brands namely Sparkling Ice Jamaica, CPJ and KIG to experience their products in an authentic Fashionable way! Thing is .. Sparkling Ice is already one of my favorite beverages as I’ve cut out soda and jumped at the opportunity to promote something I truly love! My favorite flavor is Pink Grapefruit but the brand was launching 3 of it’s newest flavors: Fruit Punch, Mandarin, and Guava which are the all-perfect to complement Jamaica’s tropical climate!

My first stop was at Flirt Boutique where I met and interacted with CPJ’s Bartender who made a refreshing cocktail using Sparkling Ice Guava. The cocktail was sweet and had just the right amount of alcohol which made it a nice balance to provide the right amount of “spunk” I needed to carry on my shopping experience.

Flirt Boutique features some of the season’s trendiest pieces which made it hard to choose just one thing but in the end, my top pick of the night was a snake print jacket with silver-spiked hardware and a dramatic orange floral printed inside that was the perfect pop of color.

We then left the store for our photoshoots with the 2020 Jeep Wrangler and Subaru XV provided by Kingston Industrial Garage that is targeted towards young professionals. Both vehicles have their own personality with the Subaru XV being the perfect, sleek mid-size SUV for the young professional on the go who is looking for a vehicle they can grow with throughout their career and the Jeep Wrangler for the professional who lives boldly, likes to be seen and is a bit more adventurous.

The final stop of the night was Lee’s Fifth Avenue who informed us that they were all out of Sparkling Ice because it was so highly requested! They offered a sale on select items as low as $1999 and discounts on other trendy items. It was a great experience and Sparkling Ice made it even better!
