Cover Girl’s first Brick and Mortar store opened its doors on November 23, 2018, in Times Square, the cities’ busiest tourist hub!
There I was walking on a cold winter night on my way back to Brooklyn when I saw bright lights and a familiar logo that somehow drew me in. “CoverGirl had an actual stand-alone store?! Is what I Immediately blurted out and got a response “Yes! We’ve been here since last November and is the first store” the voice said which was once of the friendly + helpful beauty advisors in the store.
The store is beautiful and inviting with everything women (and men) love! Tons of Make-up + sequence and even a ring light with the CoverGirl backdrop for photo-ops. The 10,000 square foot store features 2 levels, an AR Glam Station where you can virtually try-on make-up, regular glam stations, and an extensive set-up of the TruBlend Matte Foundations available in 40 shades and their signature mascaras.
This is CoverGirl’s first physical retail location in 60 years of operation which is BIG for the brand! Another amazing thing about this store is that it closes at 12am in the morning! I went there after 10pm and was so surprised that a make-up store was open that late. If you have a busy lifestyle and is always on the go (or just visiting like I was ) you will still have access to make-up even after hours.
