If you know me you know I loove Seafood as I’m a picky eater and this group of foods falls into the “things I actually eat category“. My actual Birthday was spent going to Fashion Shows for New York Fashion Week which didn’t allow me time to celebrate so I had to celebrate on the day after which happens to be the 14th (Valentines Day).
On this day I went to Time Square to do some Tourist stuff and ended up at Red Lobster for Dinner. Honestly speaking, I got tired of walking and it was the first restaurant I saw so I went in. The place was actually packed but I was still able to get a seat at the bar!
I opted for the Seaside Shrimp Trio from the Dinner Menu as it was the one that stood out the most to me.

To get things started, the Jamaican in me had to start with something warm and I had the Lobster Bisque — it was warm creamy and deliciously cheesy and had just enough Lobster to make it a quite filling meal. As this was a solo trip, I did not have anything alcoholic to drink and opted for plain old water where they added a lemon slice to make it look fancy.

Soon after my Lobster Bisque came, the famous Red Lobster Cheddar biscuits came which were a bit underwhelming as they could have stayed in the oven a bit longer. The insides were partially baked and the top crunchy. I only had 1/2 of one.

Caesar Salad |
Just when I thought that was it for appetizers, then came the Caesar Salad which had fresh lettuce, croutons, and cheddar cheese. I had no idea why this was so cold but it was a freezing salad and I had to ask them to warm it for a few seconds so I could have it — I then added a helping of salad dressing which I drizzled on top.

After taking in the game on the screen just in front of me and bopping to a few 90s and 2000s tunes (the music was lit) My Entree came!
Walt’s Favorite Shrimp, hand-crafted garlic shrimp scampi and their famous shrimp linguini Alfredo. When you choose the option you get to choose sides and I chose the creamy potatoes. This was a meal and a half and looked like something a giant would eat and after taking only a few bites, I called it quits and opted for a to-go box. Yes! I know my foodie limit and would never force to eat food if I’m already full. If you are a big eater and have a BIG appetite you would have loved it.

It was a great meal and super filling but! The Shrimp Linguini Alfredo could have been lighter on the sauce as after a while the taste of the cheese became repetitive or as we saw in Jamaica, it became “Clyding“.
If you are a seafood lover like myself, definitely check out Red Lobster– it’s not a really fancy Restaurant, but it’s a nice place for seafood options. Especially if you’ve been walking all day and it’s the first restaurant you see!
