Just last year GLAM Hub emerged as the “go to” spot for getting GLAMMED for Carnival Road March in Jamaica. This year Gabriel Waite and her team is back and have expanded to create the ultimate Carnival GLAM Station!
Haute People caught up with the “Glam” Queen herself, Gabriel Wait just to talk about all the exciting things she has in store with her GLAM Hub this year.

Haute People: What can guests expect this year?
Gabriel Waite: Well, depending on your package, guests can choose to go all out with our FULL package offering Makeup, Pony Tail, Photoshoot, Breakfast and Shuttle Service. Guests will get a complimentary mimosa on entry, and have access to Cocktails by CPJ and Brew by Heineken. Other variations of the package include Hair Glam only, Makeup Glam Only, Breakfast Only, or Shuttle Only. The shuttle only package starts at USD$5, while the FULL packages are USD$180.
Haute People: What is included in the USD$5 Only Package?
Gabriel Waite: Masqueraders can get dropped off at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel and enjoy access to the Carnival GLAM HUB. It features a comfortable air-conditioned space to chill and Lyme with friends before hitting the road. They will have the same opportunities of getting dressed, complimentary cocktails and brews. We have big spacious changing rooms and BIG mirrors as well as dressing assistants and tons of Photo Areas.

Haute People: What about HIM (the guys/men)?
Gabriel Waite: We created a special package in partnership with Carnival Hunters offering Barber services just for him, which will be located in our Man Cave, complete with video games. After all, boys will be boys. This package starts at $25 and also includes complimentary CPJ cocktails, Brews and the amenities of the room.
We’ve also included a male spray painting station by Eon & Robbie, for guys who want to have body art applied for the road.
Haute People: Do you have international MUA’s confirmed?
Gabriel Waite: We have several MUA’s confirmed from Trinidad, Guadeloupe, and Miami. We have celebrity makeup and hairstylist on board as well as some big local names. Some big Names include: Simplii Beautifulll from Trinidad, Loni Jones (Celebrity Makeup artist Jamaica), Baby (Celebrity Makeup artist – Miami) & Brittany Rae (Celebrity Hair Stylist – New York), Beats by Tiff (Jamaica), Karine Gativelza (Guadeloupe), Lovelyn and of course ME (Gabriel Waite and my Revlon team).

Haute People: What time do you open?
Gabriel Waite: We start at 3:00am and continue until 12noon for those girls who only jump after lunch. We also have a concierge backcheck and masqueraders can come, change and pick up their things from the hotel the following day.
Haute People: You spoke about Changing at the venue?
Gabriel Waite: We have spacious changing cubicles complete with lounge chairs, mirrors, and dressing assistants. We also have a seamstress onboard to make adjustments just in case.
Haute People: Are you Band Exclusive?
Gabriel Waite: Carnival Glam Hub is NOT exclusive to any band. ALL masqueraders are welcomed and we have 4 shuttles onboard to drop people to their respective bands. Doesn’t matter if you’re from Xaymaca, Xodus, Bacchanal or Rebellion.
Haute People: Are there any opportunities for Private Rooms?
Gabriel Waite: Revelers in Big groups are able to book private room-suite spaces and still benefit from all the amenities of the room. If you have a group of 8 or more, we will arrange for your own suite. This is a super limited offer and comes with a complimentary bottle of Champagne and personal wait staff.
