Chanel turned Paris Fashion Week into “A Day at the Beach” by transforming the Grand Palais into a luxurious runway set complete with a sunny sky backdrop, with real sand and even waves!

Karl Lagerfeld ensured that Summer stuck around for a bit, simply because he can do that. A grey, mundane autumn day in Paris turned into a luxurious, sunny day at the beach.

Also complementing the extravagant beach scene were Lifeguards stationed among the crowd in their tower and just when you think things couldn’t get better, the camera pans over to the ultimate beach babe, Pamela Anderson who was seated in the front row next to Pharrell! This was all for the brand’s Spring-Summer 2019 Collection.

})();

Models were seen in the Chanel trademarked tweed suits with wide brim sun hats as they strolled the exotic beach getaway catwalk with shoes in hand! At first glance, if you didn’t look close enough you would have been fooled into thinking Chanel took it’s posh VIP guests to a Fashion Show on the Beach! The brand known for a more classic, upscale and elegant fashions saw a more fun “beach-friendly” look with colorful prints that looked like beach umbrellas, bags that looked like beach balls and bike shorts (paired with a blazer and Chanel Accessories)

Nobody puts on a Fashion show quite like Chanel and we here at The Haute Lifestyle love a Fashion Show where the concept blows our mind. Maybe we’ll see something like this or similar here in Jamaica (fingers) crossed. Check out the video on YouTube.

We have a small favor to ask. People are reading the Haute Lifestyle than ever since our recent placement in the South Florida Blogger Awards but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. We do not have investors and everything Blog related is funded out of pocket– we want to keep our journalism as fun and open as we can. So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Our article takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we believe our perspective and voices matter – because it might well be your perspective, too.

If everyone who reads our posts, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure.
