UNITY IN THE CITY MEDIA LAUNCH 2019 | A CELEBRATION OF WORSHIP

The stage has been set! Unity in the City is poised to be bigger and better than it was last year which was clear at the Media Launch recently held at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel.


Talk of the Town were the word’s on everyone’s lips as invited guests made their way to the 17th Floor to support the launch of Jamaica’s most anticipated Gospel Music event! The event hosted by Jamaican Singer + Songwriter Alaine Laughton and Comedian Ian “Ity” Ellis made the perfect pair as they seamlessly introduced the sponsors and performing acts of the night while still managing to keep the guests entertained. The theme this year is worship and it has been revealed that it will be a night of anointing and blessings and all the artistes will be bringing their best performance for the event!

Invited guests got the chance to witness a few of the acts for Unity in the City including an energetic performance from Gospel Dance Group, a humorous performance from comedic duo Mr. Handsome and Zazan who gave a new meaning to clean, wholesome fun comedy and a heartfelt performance from the anointed Rhoda Isabella whose voice could thrill even the angels in heaven. She performed her hit single “Still Breathing” which had the audience singing word for word with hands raised in true worship.

This year, with the assistance of Tourism Enhancement Fund (TEF) spearheaded by Dr. Carey Wallace, Executive Director, the event will place Jamaica on the forefront as a desirable destination not only for Sun and Sand but a place that attracts international acts because of our natural talent in Music, Dance, and even Comedy!
