How to Make an Island Infused “Bob Marley” Cocktail
Today on the menu is a special drink known as the “Bob Marley” which is the signature drink of Secrets Montego Bay in Jamaica. This drink is deemed as a creeper because of how sweet and refreshing it is, you forget it’s an alcoholic drink and it suddenly creeps up on you. I will be sharing my Recipe for how I make my version of this vibrant Rasta inspired cocktail.

Ingredients
Strawberry Daiquiri Mix
Blue Curacao
Light Rum
Orange Curacao
Fresh Mango
Ice
Lime Juice
Sweet and Sour Mix
Directions
This drink gets its name because of the bold colours, so we will start by making each one and then layering them on top of each other starting with red.
We will be combining 1 oz Light Rum, 4oz Strawberry Daiquiri Mix and 1 Cup of ice (crushed ice is preferred). Ensure the blender is covered as if not, let’s just say your kitchen will be all red. Mix these together when fully blended then add to the bottom of the glass.
Next is the yellow portion of the cocktail! Combine 1oz of Rum, 3oz Chopped Mango, 1 1/2 Sweet and Sour Mix and one Cup of Ice in a Blender. Mix ingredients together once fully blended and add on top of the red. This time, only pour half of the contents on top and side the other half aside.
Our final colour is blue which will see you repeating steps 1 & 2.
Remember the 1/2 yellow you set aside? Pour this on top of the drink and mix lightly and you will see a green colour start to form. If you prefer to leave it blue, that’s up to you! Just like that! you now have a colourful, sweet, refreshing and strong “Bob Marley Cocktail”.
