The 93rd Academy Awards ceremony, presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), honored the best films of 2020 and early 2021. It took place in Los Angeles, at both Union Station and the Dolby Theatre, on April 25, 2021 – two months later than originally planned, due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on cinema. The nominations were announced on March 15.
The Oscars is a Black Tie event which pretty much means guests are expected to be dressed in a gown for women and Tuxedo for men. As we all know, celebs have a mind of their own and some are known to go against the dress code by putting a spin and their interpretation on the dress code. As always, we came for the Fashion and tuned out after the Red Carpet as the event is not only long but mundane. We are glad to see people like Daniel Kaluuya, H.E.R, and Chloe’ Zhao taking home most-deserved awards in comparison to the previous years.
It was all about the Make-up and Jewellery on the Red Carpet as Celebs and their teams were excited to get out and dress up! We saw a rise in men stepping up their Jewellery game with Daniel Kaluuya wearing a Cartier Necklace, Watch, and his signature Pinky Ring.
