Black-Owned Skincare Business Brand The Butter Bar Skincare carves a niche in the Skincare Industry

The last couple of years ushered in standards of inclusivity and diversity in the Beauty Industry.

This new era saw the rise of Black-owned businesses that catered to women of color and offered makeup, skincare products, and services that were now readily available. We saw Rihanna creating more shades with her Fenty Beauty and other Indie Brands showcasing their line of products that have garnered a cult-like following in the Black Community and Colored Community alike.  Yes! Black-Owned businesses are now front and center and it is their time to shine and we are 100% here for it.

On a recent “Social Media Crawl”  we discovered a new service while scrolling through Instagram that piqued our interest and we knew immediately we had to slide in their Dm’s to learn more. We are pleased to introduce to you, a 100% Black-Owned Business The Butter Bar who is creating a niche for themself in the Beauty Services Industry.  Sit back, relax, and grab a snack and your favorite beverage as we take you “Behind the Seams” with The Butter Bar Skincare.

Black-Owned Skincare Business Brand

H.P: Tell us about The Butter Bar Skincare?

The Butter Bar Skincare: We are a black-owned 100% natural handcrafted skincare company following a “Good Enough To Eat” philosophy to improve skin’s health. We create products using ingredients that you can actually pronounce. Our philosophy is:

If you wouldn’t want to put it in your body, don’t put it on your skin!

H.P:  What are some of the services currently offered?

The Butter Bar Skincare: We offer a variety of facial, cosmetic, and waxing services. One service we’ve been highlighting during acne awareness month is our Green Peel, an all-natural alternative to the traditional chemical peel to rid the skin of acne and hyperpigmentation along with improving texture. We also offer lash extension services and complete body waxing.

H.P:  We’ve also noticed a rather interesting service currently being offered… tell us about the “Butter Buns Booty Bacial”

The Butter Bar Skincare: The Butter Buns Booty Bacial is the perfect treatment to treat hyperpigmentation, acne on the buttocks, and texture issues! The Booty Bacial can also help to diminish the appearance of stretch marks.

H.P: Give us a quick run-down of the process of the “Butter Buns Booty Bacial” ( how long it is, how often it should be done etc)

The Butter Bar Skincare: With the Booty Bacial, clients receive a cleanse, double exfoliation (which includes a microdermabrasion treatment), extractions as needed, a customized hydrogel mask, and we finish it off with one of our best-selling body products— the Royal Oil.

H.P:  What are a few things people can do to prepare for their first “Butter Buns Booty Bacial” Session?

The Butter Bar Skincare: There’s not much to do to prepare for a Booty Bacial! We always suggest for our clients to shower beforehand, and to wear comfortable, easy to remove clothing.

H.P:  In light of knowledge and availability, do you think women of color are better equipped with the “how-to” of taking care of their skin?

The Butter Bar Skincare: Most definitely! We are in an age now that many other amazing black-owned beauty brands are taking the initiative to educate customers rather than simply pushing to make a profit. We at The Butter Bar make it very clear that customers have the option to DM or email our team regarding their skin concerns. We also generate weekly blog posts to better educate women of color on skincare.

H.P: What are the 5 essential products every woman should have in her skincare routine?

The Butter Bar Skincare: Every woman needs the essential cleanser, toner, and moisturizer in their routine. Incorporating a great multi-purpose serum like our Melan-In Skin Nourishing Serum+ MPF along with an exfoliant such as our Brown Sugar & Honey scrubs is a must for complete skin health.

H.P:  What are the most requested services and products?

The Butter Bar: Our Beauties love the Melan-In serum, it’s a perfect blend of plant, fruit, and vegetable oils that help clear acne, eczema, psoriasis, melasma, dry patches, dark spots, and hypo-pigmentation. It also provides natural sun protection because we are not exempt from the damage of the excessive sun.

Our 24kt Gold Facial is definitely one of our most popular services. It is an exfoliating procedure in which dead skin cells and peach fuzz are gently scraped away, for an INSTANT brightening treatment. It also includes a 24k add-on and massage roller therapy.

H.P:  Where can potential clients find you? (physical location, social media, website etc)

The Butter Bar Skincare: We have two physical locations:

  • 10142 Jones Rd b7, Houston, TX 77065 inside of Linh Dao Plaza
  • 780 North Highland Ave, Atlanta, Georgia

  1. I think what you posted was actually very reasonable. However, what about this?

what if you added a little content? I am not suggesting your content isn’t solid, but what if you added a headline to maybe
get a person’s attention? I mean Black-Owned Skincare Business Brand  is kinda
vanilla. You could glance at Yahoo’s front page and watch how they create article titles to get people
interested. You might try adding a video or a related pic or two to grab people interested about everything’ve written. In my opinion, it could make your posts a little bit more interesting.

  2. I delight in, cause I found exactly what I used to be having a look

  3. Write more, thats all I have to say. Literally, it seems as though you relied on the video to make your point.
You clearly know what youre talking about, why waste your intelligence on just posting videos
to your blog when you could be giving us something enlightening
    to read?
